Clinic Associate – Psychologist
A licensed psychologist, psychometrician, and professional teacher with extensive experience in psychological assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, and higher education instruction. He is currently the Program Chair of the Psychology Department at National University East Ortigas, where he also teaches major psychology and board examination courses. Mr. Cebu serves as a Consultant Psychologist for multiple psychological service centers, providing individual, group, and family counseling, as well as delivering evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions. He also served as the Barangay Psychologist of Barangay Malanday, Marikina City, the only barangay among the sixteen (16) barangays in Marikina with a designated psychologist where he provided community-based mental health services, psychological consultations, and psychosocial support programs.
He has also been a long-time national lecturer at Top rank Review Academy, specializing in Abnormal Psychology, Psychological Testing, Industrial Psychology, and Personality Theories. He holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Centro Escolar University and is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree. His research works have been published in various local and international journals, covering topics such as academic anxiety, memory, self-efficacy, non-suicidal self-injury, and LGBTQ+ developmental Experiences. Mr. Cebu is an active member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and Philippines Association for Teachers and Educators and has been invited as a speaker in several mental health and psychology-focused seminars and webinars.
